IAPPO is offering its chapter members a one-day NIGP seminar, “World Class Procurement Practices,” at a huge discount from what is normally charged by NIGP for a one-day seminar. IAPPO is subsidizing the balance of the fee for its members. Darin Matthews, CPPO, C.P.M., will be teaching the class.

The NIGP one-day seminar will be held in conjunction with IAPPO’s 2010 spring conference at the Northfield Inn, Suites, & Conference Center in Springfield, Illinois. In addition to the Thursday class on May 6, the chapter will meet for a half day on Friday, May 7, from 8 a.m. to noon for a chapter business meeting, a CMS update of current contracts, discussion of new FOIA rules, and Senate Bill 51.

In order to participate in the NIGP “World Class Procurement Practices” seminar, you need to register before April 5, 2010. The seminar will be canceled if we do not have at least 20 students. NIGP is handling the entire seminar registration process through its web site.

Your $95 registration fee will cover the following:
• One-day NIGP seminar on May 6
• Continental breakfasts on May 6 and May 7
• Procurement sessions on Friday morning, May 7

There is no price adjustment for individuals attending only the Thursday NIGP seminar and are not attending the Friday morning sessions.
